How do I cancel Loom?

Cancel Loom from the Atlassian billing portal: a billing or organization administrator opens Billing, then Subscriptions, selects Manage on Loom, chooses Deactivate and completes cancellation. It takes about 3 minutes, and the paid plan stays available until the end of the billing term. An eligible initial purchase may qualify for a refund within 30 days; legacy Loom.com cancellations are not prorated.

Step-by-step instructions
The current route uses Atlassian Billing; legacy Loom.com accounts use Plan & Billing.

Open the Atlassian billing portal
For an Atlassian-managed plan, sign in as a billing or organization administrator and open Billing, then Subscriptions.

Manage the Loom entitlement
Find Loom, select Manage, open the entitlement actions and choose Deactivate.

Complete cancellation
Choose a reason, continue past the Starter downgrade option and select Cancel subscription. Save the displayed end date.

Use an eligible administrator
Only a billing or organization administrator can cancel a current Atlassian-managed team subscription.

Review Starter limits
Starter allows 25 videos per person and new recordings up to five minutes. Export or remove content first if needed.

Deactivate Loom in billing
Open Billing, Subscriptions, Manage and the Loom entitlement actions, then choose Deactivate and complete cancellation.
Review the Starter video and recording limits before the paid term ends.

Legacy Loom.com cancellation is not prorated. Under Atlassian's current policy, an initial monthly or annual purchase may qualify when requested within 30 days, but renewals, upgrades and Enterprise subscriptions do not.
Is there a cheaper way to stay?
The Workspace returns to Starter when the term ends. Existing videos above Starter limits remain, but new recordings are blocked until the Workspace is within the limits. Legacy accounts use Plan & Billing and Downgrade to Starter.
Can I pause instead of cancel?
No Loom subscription pause option is documented.
What happens to my account data?
Cancellation does not delete videos. Account deletion is separate and permanently removes videos, transcripts and view counts. Reduce a paid plan to Starter first; an Atlassian-integrated account may require deleting the Atlassian account.
