Terms of use
The short version: we document how to cancel things as accurately as we can, we are affiliated with nobody, you act on your own account, and sponsors never buy editorial influence.
What this site is
Can I Cancel It? publishes cancellation guides for third-party software services, based on those services' own official documentation, each with a visible verification date. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any service we write about. All product names and trademarks belong to their owners.
No guarantees, use your own judgement
Services change their interfaces, prices and policies without telling us. We verify against official documentation and date every guide, but we cannot promise a guide is accurate at the moment you read it, and we accept no liability for charges, lost data or other consequences of following (or not following) a guide. The information here is not legal or financial advice. When in doubt, the service's own documentation - linked from every guide - is authoritative.
We never act on your behalf
We never ask for, receive or handle your logins, payment details or accounts with other services. Every cancellation described here is something you do yourself, in your own account.
Sponsorship terms
Sponsor slots are sold as a monthly Stripe subscription: one slot, one advertiser. The first advertiser pays $99 per month; each new advertiser adds $100, up to $999 per month. The rate you start at stays yours for as long as you keep the slot. After payment you upload a logo and copy, and the card goes live. We may take down a placement that is misleading, unlawful, or a poor fit; the subscription is then cancelled. Sponsors may not request changes to editorial content; doing so ends the placement. Placements are labelled "Ad" and never presented as recommendations.
Feedback you send us
By sending feedback or corrections you grant us the right to use them to improve the site. Feedback never changes published content automatically - a human verifies against official documentation first.
Boring but necessary
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If any provision turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may update these terms; the date below always reflects the current version. Questions go through the contact form. Last updated 21 August 2026.
