How do I cancel Fireflies.ai?

Cancel Fireflies.ai from Settings in the web app: open Account, scroll to Subscriptions, click Cancel next to the active plan and finish with Cancel Subscription. It takes about 3 minutes and takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, when the plan changes to Free. Refund eligibility depends on billing cadence, days used and meeting count; AI Credits are non-refundable.

The AI Credits subscription is separate and must be cancelled separately if active.

Four questions people ask before they cancelCan I get my money back?
A monthly plan qualifies for a full refund at 7 days or less and 3 meetings or fewer; otherwise a prorated monthly refund may apply. An annual plan qualifies for a full refund at 7 days or less and 20 meetings or fewer, with no prorated annual refund. AI Credits are non-refundable. Approved refunds take 5 to 10 business days.
Is there a cheaper way to stay?
The Billing Admin can open Billing, click Edit, choose the next available lower plan, and confirm. The change starts next cycle; the current plan remains active and an unused prorated balance becomes credit toward future invoices. Moving to Free requires cancellation.
Can I pause instead of cancel?
No pause is documented for the core Fireflies subscription. AI Credits are separate: their monthly renewal can be paused, and disabling Auto-Upgrade only stops automatic credit-tier upgrades.
What happens to my account data?
Cancellation keeps meetings, transcripts, and recordings in the workspace within Free limits. Account deletion is separate: the account is deactivated immediately, remains recoverable through support for 30 days, then the account and associated data are permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
