Sign in with an Admin or Billing role
Log in to the Claude Console at console.anthropic.com or platform.claude.com.

Open Settings, then Billing
Go to Settings > Billing. Credit usage and auto-reload live on this page.

Turn auto-reload off
Click Edit in the auto-reload section and toggle auto-reload off. Credit Terms call this the Balance Maintenance Service and let you opt out on the Plans and Billing page.

Optionally delete the Console organization
A Console Admin can open Settings > Organization, click the red Delete organization button, click Acknowledge and continue, type delete [your org name], then click Delete this organization. Pay any outstanding balance on Billing first.
Unused credits expire one year after purchase and are not refunded. Closing the account also expires remaining credits.

Do not cancel on claude.ai
Claude Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise on claude.ai are a different product. Console API usage is prepaid on the Console Billing page.

Set a spend limit if you keep a credit balance
On Settings > Billing, in Spend limits, click Adjust limit or Set limit. The limit cannot exceed your tier cap.

All credit purchases are non-refundable. Usage credits expire one calendar year from purchase. Promotional credits expire when issued, or after one year if no date is given. Credits also expire if the customer closes the Anthropic account and cannot be recovered.
Is there a cheaper way to stay?
There is no cheaper named Console seat plan. After auto-reload is off, usage stops when the credit balance is gone. Deleting the organization ends Console access for every member.
Can I pause instead of cancel?
No subscription pause is documented. Turning auto-reload off stops new automatic credit purchases. Existing credits remain until used, expired or the account is closed.
What happens to my account data?
Organization deletion cannot be reversed after seven days. Support can restore account data within those seven days. Back up data before deletion. Credits expire and cannot be recovered if the account is closed.

No. Claude Pro and Max are cancelled on claude.ai. Console API billing is prepaid usage credits on the Claude Console.
