Can I get a Anthropic API refund?

All credit purchases are non-refundable. Usage credits expire one calendar year from purchase. Promotional credits expire when issued, or after one year if no date is given. Credits also expire if the customer closes the Anthropic account and cannot be recovered.

Is this the same as cancelling Claude Pro?

No. Claude Pro and Max are cancelled on claude.ai. Console API billing is prepaid usage credits on the Claude Console.

Can I get unused API credits refunded?

No. All credit purchases are non-refundable. Credits expire one year after purchase.

What happens when credits run out?

You can no longer call the API or use Workbench until you buy more credits, or until auto-reload buys them.
