How do I cancel Upstash Redis?

Cancel Upstash by exporting your data, deleting every paid resource and then using Account > Settings > Delete Account if you also want the account removed. It takes about 5 minutes. Payments are non-refundable, and Upstash warns that deleted account data cannot be recovered.

Delete every billable resource
Sign in to Upstash Console and delete all databases, clusters and other paid resources you no longer want. Export important data first because deletion is not recoverable.

Open Account, then Settings
Go to the Account area and open Settings. Upstash requires all resources to be deleted before the account can be removed.

Choose Delete Account
Select Delete Account and complete the confirmation. Upstash says this permanently removes account data and payment information.

Monthly and yearly payments are billed in advance and are non-refundable, including partial periods, downgrades and unused time while an account remains open.
Is there a cheaper way to stay?
A paid database type cannot be reverted to Free. Delete paid resources to stop their charges. A new Free database can be created separately within current Free limits.
Can I pause instead of cancel?
No subscription pause is documented. Pay-as-you-go users can set a budget, but that is a spending control rather than a pause.
What happens to my account data?
The current account FAQ says account deletion permanently removes account data and payment information and cannot be recovered. The terms also mention a six-month cancellation period but reserve the right to delete content immediately, so export everything and do not rely on recovery.
