It takes about 3 minutes, paid features continue through the current billing period, and the account then changes to Free. StatusCake gives no prorated refund after a customer cancels.

Card-paid cancellation keeps paid features through the current billing period and then changes the account to Free. A requested move to a lower paid tier takes effect on the next renewal date.
Can I pause instead of cancel?
No customer-initiated paid-subscription pause is documented.
What happens to my account data?
Cancellation does not delete the account because it changes to Free. A free account can be removed from Account with Remove Account. Account data is retained while active, billing records for statutory periods and backups briefly; privacy deletion requests can be emailed to support.
