How do I cancel Prisma Postgres?

$10 / month Databases & backends Starter · billed via web
3 min Self-serve No fee To cancel
Short answer

Open the Prisma Console workspace and use Billing to change or cancel the subscription. Prisma does not publish the monthly effective date, while annual plans require at least 30 days' notice before renewal. Termination does not produce a cash refund, so export important database content first.

Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data

Four questions people ask before they cancel
Can I get my money back?

Termination does not produce a refund. Refunds are at Prisma's sole discretion and, if granted, are issued as Prisma service credits rather than cash. Annual plan fees are paid upfront and are non-refundable.

No refunds
Is there a cheaper way to stay?

A Free Prisma Postgres plan exists and workspace Billing supports plan selection. Prisma does not publicly document whether cancellation automatically downgrades to Free, when new limits apply or how resources above Free limits are treated.

Can I pause instead of cancel?

No subscription pause option is documented on Prisma's public pricing, Console, support or legal pages.

What happens to my account data?

Export and back up important content before changing service. Paid plans have automated backup retention of 7 days on Starter and Pro and 30 days on Business, but Prisma does not publish post-cancellation project retention. Account deletion is separate and requires cancelling active subscriptions first.
