How do I cancel Adobe Express?

Short answer
Cancel Adobe Express from your Adobe account page: under Plans and payment select Manage plan, then Cancel your plan and confirm. It takes about 2 minutes, and paid features stay until the end of the billing period before the account converts to Adobe Express Free. Most plans are refundable within 14 days; annual-paid-monthly contracts charge 50% of the remaining balance after that.

Adobe's quick-design app for social posts, flyers, video and PDFs. The Premium plan adds premium templates, Adobe Stock assets, brand kits and Firefly generative credits. The individual Premium plan is billed monthly with no annual commitment, so there is no early termination fee on it.

Sign in to your Adobe account
Go to your Adobe account page and sign in. This works only for subscriptions purchased directly from Adobe; App Store and Google Play purchases must be cancelled through Apple or Google.

Select Manage plan
In the Plans and payment window, select Manage plan for the plan you want to cancel.

Select Cancel your plan
Adobe notes you cannot cancel while a payment is processing or failing - wait 24 hours and try again.

Continue through the confirmation screens
Check your plan details and select Continue to cancel, select the reason for cancellation, then select Continue.

Select Confirm cancellation
Review the cancellation details, including any fee or refund, and select Confirm cancellation. Check your email for a confirmation from Adobe or verify the cancellation on your account page. If you have more than one Adobe plan, each must be cancelled separately.
Adobe's annual-paid-monthly contracts (for example Adobe Express Teams, and Creative Cloud plans that include Express) charge an early termination fee after the first 14 days: 50% of the remaining balance of the contract.
Adobe cannot cancel App Store subscriptions - only Apple bills you. Refund requests also go to Apple.

Open the Settings app and select your name
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, select your name and enter your Apple ID password if prompted.

Select Subscriptions
This lists every subscription billed through your Apple Account.

Select Adobe Express, then Cancel Subscription
If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already cancelled. No longer have an Apple device? Adobe says to use iTunes on a PC or contact Apple Support.

Sign in to the right Google account
Adobe Express subscriptions on Google Play renew automatically unless you unsubscribe. Sign in to the Google Account associated with your subscription.

Open Google Play subscriptions
In the Google Play app or on play.google.com, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

Cancel the Adobe Express subscription
Select Manage next to Adobe Express, select Cancel subscription, pick a reason and confirm. You keep access for the time you have already paid.
Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancel through Google Play.

System admins cancel in the Admin Console
For team plans bought directly from Adobe, sign in to the Admin Console, select Account, scroll to Plans and licenses, select Manage for the plan, then Cancel Licenses and follow the steps. Only system admins and contract owners can do this.

The self-serve option is rolling out gradually. If you do not see it, go to the Support tab in the Admin Console and select Start chat to contact Adobe Customer Care. Plans bought through a reseller are cancelled via the reseller.

For most plans Adobe gives a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of the initial purchase. After 14 days, annual prepaid plans get no refund for the remainder of the year, and annual-paid-monthly plans pay a cancellation fee of 50% of the remaining contract balance; the month-to-month Premium plan simply runs to the end of the paid month. Google Play purchases are refunded through Google Play within 48 hours of purchase, after that through Adobe Support. App Store purchases are refunded by Apple.
Is there a cheaper way to stay?
After cancelling, access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period, then the account converts to a free membership: the Adobe account stays active and Adobe Express Free remains available. Within the billing period a cancellation can be undone from the Adobe account page, restoring apps, services and storage.
Can I pause instead of cancel?
No pause option is documented for Adobe-billed subscriptions. Subscriptions billed through Google Play can be paused with Play's own subscription controls.
What happens to my account data?
Cancelling does not delete your account or files. Cloud storage drops to the free 5GB limit; if you are over 5GB when you cancel, Adobe gives you 30 days to move files out of cloud storage, after which access to some or all files on Creative Cloud servers may be removed. Files stored on your own computer are unaffected.
