Direct-billed subscribers can switch among available YouTube TV, Sports and Sports + News plans on the website. A cheaper switch produces a credit for the next payment; plan switching is not available in the mobile apps.
Can I pause instead of cancel?
Eligible direct-billed memberships can be paused for 4 weeks to 6 months after the current billing cycle. No new recordings are saved while paused, and existing recordings remain subject to expiration.
What happens to my account data?
Recordings expire 21 days after the paid period ends. Library preferences are saved, and Google may retain limited billing and fraud-prevention information.
