How do I cancel Yoast SEO Premium?
Cancel Yoast SEO Premium from the Subscriptions page in MyYoast at my.yoast.com: click Manage on the subscription, then Cancel subscription, and confirm. These steps are for Yoast's WordPress products bought via MyYoast. Yoast SEO for Shopify is separate and is removed through Yoast's Shopify uninstall guide.
Sign in at my.yoast.com with the account that holds the subscription.
In the sidebar menu, select Subscriptions.
Find the subscription you want to cancel and click Manage.
Under Subscription actions, click Cancel subscription.
Review the information, select the amount you want to cancel (the default is set to 0), and click Confirm cancellation. The status changes to Pending-cancel and the subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
Cancel before the start of the day listed as 'next billing' in MyYoast - after that the next renewal term is charged, and renewals are not refundable.

After cancelling, the subscription remains active for the remainder of the current term and MyYoast shows the status Pending-cancel. Updates, downloads and premium support stop, and Yoast warns you become vulnerable to security issues without updates. The free Yoast SEO plugin remains available.
No pause option is documented in Yoast's help center or terms of service.
Nothing is removed from your site when the subscription ends: Yoast states downloaded premium plugins are yours to keep and use for as long as you want, so the plugin and its settings stay on your WordPress install, minus the subscription-only features. An expired subscription can still be renewed in MyYoast within 30 days of the end date; after more than 30 days you need to buy a new subscription.
