In Todoist for web or desktop, select your avatar and choose Settings.

Select Subscription, then choose Cancel plan.

Confirm the cancellation
Choose a reason and select Cancel subscription. Pro stays active through the paid period, then returns to Beginner.
Projects above the Beginner limit become view-only after the downgrade, and new automatic backups stop.
