1
Open account settings

Sign in. Terms 5.6: you can change or resign Paid Services at any time by going to account settings. The pricing FAQ places upgrade and downgrade in Billing settings.

2
Resign the Paid Service or opt out of auto-renewal

Unless you opt out of auto-renewal in account settings, Paid Services renew for successive periods of the same duration at the then-current non-promotional rate. Follow the cancellation or plan-change prompts shown there. Stainless does not publish a separate Cancel button label.

3
Use the subscription through the current Service Term

If you terminate a Paid Service, you may use the subscription until the end of the then-current Service Term, and it will not renew after that term expires.

Paid Services cannot be terminated before the end of the period already paid. There is no prorated refund of that term's fee.

Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data

Four questions people ask before they cancel
Can I get my money back?

You are not eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee paid for the then-current Service Term. Paid Services cannot be terminated before the end of the period already paid, and except as expressly provided in the self-service terms Stainless will not refund fees already paid. If a trial is cancelled and you are charged by mistake, the terms say to contact Stainless.

No refunds
Is there a cheaper way to stay?

You can upgrade or downgrade between Stainless plans in Billing settings any time. When a trial ends you lose paid features unless you subscribe or downgrade yourself to the free plan. Free remains listed at $0 with up to 5 generators.

Free tier exists
Can I pause instead of cancel?

No subscription pause option is documented on the public pricing FAQ or self-service terms.
