Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data

Four questions people ask before they cancel
Can I get my money back?

Skool says subscription fees, once paid, are non-refundable. No refunds are provided for full or partial billing periods or for non-use of the platform. Member-to-admin refunds are at the creator's discretion.

No refunds
Is there a cheaper way to stay?

Group owners can change from Pro to Hobby under Settings, Billing, Manage subscription, Change plan, then Downgrade, if Hobby limits are met. After cancellation, the group is archived at the end of the billing period with read-only content.

Can I pause instead of cancel?

No subscription pause is documented. Lockdown (Close doors) stops new members from joining but existing members keep access and continue to be billed.

Not available
What happens to my account data?

Cancelling archives the group at the end of the billing cycle; content stays read-only and can be reactivated. Permanent deletion requires that the creator is the only remaining member and the group is already archived, then SETTINGS > Billing > Delete group. Deleting the group is not required to stop billing.
