Cancel Patriot Accounting from Settings: open Manage Subscription, Add or Cancel Software, deselect the active Accounting product, answer the prompts and save. It takes about two minutes and makes the product inactive. Patriot bills in arrears, so the next month's final invoice can include active days before cancellation.
