Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data

Four questions people ask before they cancel
Can I get my money back?

Official deletion docs say deleting an OVHcloud service does not entitle you to a refund. US Terms of Service treat fees as non-cancelable and non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated. EU consumers have a 14-day cancellation right and pay a pro-rated amount if the service has already started.

No refunds
Is there a cheaper way to stay?

You can change the instance template and switch hourly billing to monthly from Edit. Switching monthly back to hourly requires deleting the monthly instance and creating a new hourly one. There is no free instance plan after the last resource is deleted.

Can I pause instead of cancel?
