How do I cancel Hetzner Cloud?
Stop Hetzner Cloud billing in Hetzner Console: open the project, select Server, open the server, click Delete and confirm. It takes about 2 minutes and is effective immediately, with a pro-rated final invoice. Hetzner bills hourly usage up to the monthly cap and does not document a general refund for deleted cloud servers.

Hetzner Cloud virtual servers managed in Hetzner Console, separate from Robot dedicated servers and konsoleH hosting. This guide covers every place the subscription can live - the website and team plans - plus what happens to refunds, pausing and your data afterwards.
Step-by-step instructions
This guide is Hetzner Cloud in Console only, not Robot dedicated servers or konsoleH.
Go to console.hetzner.com/projects, log in, and select the project that holds the server.
Select Server in the menu, then open the cloud server you want to cancel.
Click Delete and confirm. The resource cannot be restored. You receive a pro-rated final invoice for hourly use up to the monthly cap.
Delete snapshots, backups, volumes, floating IPs and other project resources that still accrue charges. Powering a server off does not stop billing.
Deleted Console resources cannot be recovered. Data deletion is treated as immediate.
Hetzner says customers normally cancel products one by one. Full account closure is exceptional: submit a support request, list every product, allow 30 days to the end of the month, pay invoices, then delete the account at accounts.hetzner.com/account/delete if you still have access.
Tick a step to keep your place - nothing is stored. Tap a step to tick it off - nothing is stored.

Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data
Four questions people ask before they cancelCloud servers are billed after use at the hourly rate up to the monthly cap. No general refund is documented for a deleted cloud server. EU consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right; if the service has already begun, Hetzner invoices the pro-rata amount. Remaining account credit can be refunded through support after invoices are paid.
You can rescale a cloud server in Console. Rescaling a server on legacy pricing switches it to current pricing. There is no free cloud plan after the last server is deleted.
No cloud-server pause is documented. Powered-off servers are billed until deleted. Hetzner suggests taking a snapshot and deleting the server if you will be off for a long time.
After you delete a Console resource, Hetzner cannot restore it and says data is deleted after cancellation, typically immediately. After a customer account is deactivated, Hetzner keeps data 3 years with no product usage or 14 years when invoices exist, then deletes it.
