Only organization admins can manage billing. Click the settings icon at the bottom of the sidebar, then click [organization name] settings.
Click Billing. Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe billing portal.
If Cancel plan is shown, click it, then click Cancel plan again to confirm. The plan stays active until the end of the billing period and will not renew.
If Cancel plan is missing in Stripe, contact support once. Do not repeat the self-serve flow.
If Organization settings, Billing, Manage Billing does not show Cancel plan, contact GitBook Support once with the organization name, account email, plan, renewal date and latest invoice. Support can cancel or schedule cancellation.
Payment by invoice is only on Enterprise. Those contracts follow the Order Form: you may terminate at any time and keep using the service through the prepaid period, with no refund of prepaid fees.
