What you are cancelling

Pay-as-you-go edge platform. Bunny CDN and other bunny.net products bill from one prepaid account with a $1 monthly minimum while zones are active. This guide covers every place the subscription can live - the website and team plans - plus what happens to refunds, pausing and your data afterwards.

Step-by-step instructions

Deleting zones stops the $1 monthly minimum even if you keep the account. Closing the account is separate and permanent.

1
Delete every zone

Delete all Pull Zones and Storage Zones and download files you want to keep. The FAQ also says to delete Video Libraries. You cannot close with a negative balance or an unconfirmed email.

2
Open Close Account

In Account Settings click Close My Account, or go to dash.bunny.net/account/settings/close.

3
Select a reason

Choose a reason for closing the account.

4
Confirm Close My Account Forever

Click Close My Account Forever. Bunny.net says this is permanent, deletes all data, and does not refund the account balance.

Closing the account does not refund remaining prepaid credit.

Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data

Four questions people ask before they cancel
Can I get my money back?

Terms say payments are prepaid and not refundable. The close-account docs say the remaining balance cannot be refunded. Support may review a mistaken payment, or a payment made within one month of signup when the balance has not been used.

Case by case
Is there a cheaper way to stay?

There is no paid-to-free plan switch. You can change a Pull Zone's pricing tier and enabled regions on that zone's Pricing page at any time. Closing the account is the documented way to end the account.

Can I pause instead of cancel?

There is no named subscription pause. Remove all Zones and Video Libraries to avoid the $1 monthly minimum. Credits do not expire.

What happens to my account data?

Closing the account permanently deletes all data. Personal data is removed after the contract ends or the account is deregistered, except records kept for unpaid balances or tax law. Unpaid accounts can lose storage data; the FAQ says that happens after 2 months of non-payment.

Frequently asked questions

Answers checked with the steps above
How do I stop Bunny.net charges?

Delete all zones so the $1 monthly minimum stops, disable Auto-Recharge, and close the account if you want it removed.

Can unused credit be refunded?

Usually no. Closing the account does not refund the balance. Support may review a mistaken payment or an unused top-up within one month of signup.

Does adding a card start automatic charges?

No. Automatic charges run only if Auto-Recharge is enabled after at least one manual payment.

Why was I charged $1 with almost no traffic?

Accounts with active zones have a $1 monthly minimum. Usage below $1 is rounded up to $1 for that month.

What if Close My Account is greyed out?

Confirm the email, clear a negative balance, and delete all zones. Backend erasure can take hours or days before the button works.
