Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data

Four questions people ask before they cancel
Can I get my money back?

The Bitrise Terms of Service state that all amounts paid pursuant to a Plan are non-refundable.

No refunds
Is there a cheaper way to stay?

You can change a workspace plan from Plan & Billing by clicking Change plan, selecting a new plan or tier, and completing checkout. Enterprise is not self-serve. After a product cancellation, access lasts until the end of the current billing period, then the product reverts to its free plan where available (Hobby for CI).

Free tier exists
Can I pause instead of cancel?

No pause option is documented. Official billing docs describe changing or cancelling a product subscription, not pausing it.

Not available
What happens to my account data?

Cancelling a product subscription does not delete the workspace. Deleting your user account is a separate flow. The Terms say Bitrise may dispose of Customer Data in its possession at any point after termination, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Frequently asked questions

Answers checked with the steps above
Do I have to cancel every Bitrise product?

Yes if you pay for more than one. Each product has an independent subscription. Repeat Manage > Cancel subscription on each card. Cancelling an add-on leaves the product subscription active.

When does cancellation take effect?

You keep access until the end of the current billing period. Plan & Billing then shows the scheduled cancellation date. After that the product reverts to its free plan where available.

Can I get a refund?

No. The Terms of Service say all amounts paid pursuant to a Plan are non-refundable.

Who can cancel?

A workspace owner. Owners manage billing and the billing email.

Does deleting my Bitrise account cancel paid plans?

The Terms treat deleting the account as termination of the Terms. Product docs still tell you to cancel each subscription on Plan & Billing, and they require transferring or deleting a workspace you solely own before you delete the account.
