Sign in as an organization owner
Only organization owners can manage billing, plans, and invoices.

Open Billing in Organization Settings
Open Billing in the Subscription section of Organization Settings, or use https://appsignal.com/redirect-to/organization?to=admin/invoices.

Open the cancelation form
In the Cancel plan section, click Go to cancelation form.

Give a reason and confirm
Provide a reason for cancelation and confirm. If you do not want to give a reason, you may enter x.

Keep access until the period ends
After confirming, you will not be charged again for the plan, except outstanding invoices. You can keep using AppSignal until the end of the current billing period.

Only owners can cancel the plan
Members cannot manage billing, plans, or invoices. An owner can grant access in Team management.

Deleting the user account is separate
Canceling a plan does not delete the user account. To delete a user account, email [email protected].

Is there a cheaper way to stay?
If usage has been below the current plan for more than 30 days, you can downgrade on the plan page. After a paid plan is canceled you can keep using AppSignal until the period ends, then the Free plan (50K requests, 1GB logging, 5-day retention) remains available. Switching from yearly to monthly billing requires emailing [email protected].
Can I pause instead of cancel?
No pause or billing-hold option is documented in the billing docs or Terms and Conditions.
What happens to my account data?
Traces for slow requests and exceptions are kept at least 30 days (45 days on the 25M plan, 60 days on the 50M plan and up). Overall metrics stay as historical data. Logging is retained 30 days. After the paid period ends, AppSignal may automatically remove application data. Upon termination AppSignal may immediately delete content from the Service.
