Cancel Spotify Premium on the web: sign in, open Manage your plan, select Cancel subscription and complete the confirmation flow. It takes about 2 to 5 minutes and the paid plan stays active until the next billing date, when the account changes to Spotify Free. Cancellation normally does not produce a refund.

Duo and Family plan managers cancel the whole plan; invited members can only remove themselves. Basic plans cannot be selected again after cancellation.
Sign in to the Spotify account that pays for the plan and open Manage your plan.
Select Cancel subscription for the active Premium or Basic plan.
Follow the confirmation flow and check the date the account will change to Spotify Free.
If the account lists a payment partner, use that provider's cancellation route instead.
If Payment shows a mobile, internet or other partner, cancel with that partner instead.
Use Google Play subscriptions only when Google Play is listed as the payment provider.
If Google Play owns billing, open Subscriptions in Google Play while signed in to the Google Account that pays for Spotify.
Choose the Spotify subscription from the active subscriptions list.
Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen instructions.

Cancelling Spotify Premium does not refund the current paid period; the account normally stays Premium until that period ends. Partner payments, including legacy iTunes billing, are handled by that provider.
At the end of a paid billing period the account changes to Spotify Free and keeps playlists and saved music. A zero-price trial changes to Free immediately when cancelled. A cancelled Basic legacy plan cannot be reactivated.
