Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data

Four questions people ask before they cancel
Can I get my money back?

Termination does not discharge unpaid amounts. You pay for licenses and services rendered before the effective date of termination. The terms do not publish a general unused-time refund. A prorated refund of fees is listed only if SigNoz terminates for IP infringement and chooses that option.

No refunds
Is there a cheaper way to stay?

Community Edition is self-hosted open source, not a Cloud free plan after cancel. The public FAQ does not document a Cloud free tier that remains after Cancel subscription. A Cloud trial without a payment method is deleted after a 7-day grace period.

Can I pause instead of cancel?

No subscription pause option is documented in the general FAQ, pricing page or terms. Marketing copy mentions data ingestion limits so you never get a surprise bill; that is a spend control, not a pause of the subscription.

What happens to my account data?

On request, SigNoz deletes Usage Data, Personal Data and/or Customer Content within 60 days of termination. The privacy policy generally retains Personal Data for 180 days or 6 months, then deletes it, unless a legal, accounting or reporting duty requires longer. You can also email [email protected] to delete Personal Data, or change it in profile or account settings.
