Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data

Four questions people ask before they cancel
Can I get my money back?

RankYak's Terms of Service state that no refunds are issued for unused portions of service periods.

No refunds
Is there a cheaper way to stay?

A plan downgrade or switch between monthly and annual billing takes effect at renewal and can be canceled before then. Fully canceling deactivates every site in the organization at the end of the current billing period. RankYak documents a trial but no ongoing free plan.

Can I pause instead of cancel?

No subscription pause or hold option is documented on RankYak's pricing, billing, account, trial, or terms pages. If a pending cancellation changes your mind, you can choose Resume subscription on the billing page before the paid period ends.

What happens to my account data?

Canceling does not delete sites, keywords, or articles, and subscribing again resumes the organization where it stopped. Account deletion is a separate permanent action that deletes every organization the account owns and all site data, cancels those subscriptions, and removes the user from other organizations. Articles already published on an external website remain there.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I cancel RankYak?

Open the organization's Billing page and click Cancel subscription at the bottom.

When does RankYak cancellation take effect?

At the end of the current billing period. RankYak continues operating normally until then.

Does RankYak refund unused time?

No. Its Terms of Service say unused portions of service periods are not refunded.

Does RankYak delete my content after cancellation?

No. Sites, keywords, and articles stay in the account, and a later subscription can resume them.

Can I undo a RankYak cancellation?

Yes. Before the paid period ends, choose Resume subscription on the same billing page. Afterward, subscribe again to pick up where you stopped.

Does deleting my RankYak account cancel billing?

Yes, but deletion also permanently removes every organization you own and all of its site data. Cancel only the subscription if you want to preserve that data.
