Short answer

Cancel Railway from your workspace Billing page at railway.com/workspace/billing: click Cancel Plan in the Active Plan section. Step-by-step instructions

Pro is billed per workspace and uses the same billing page - there is no separate team cancellation flow.

1
Open your workspace Billing page

Sign in and go to railway.com/workspace/billing.

2
Go to the Active Plan section

It shows your current subscription.

3
Click Cancel Plan

Railway stops all deployments in your workspace immediately to prevent further charges; the plan itself stays active until the end of the billing cycle.

4
Optionally remove your payment method

Once cancelled with no pending invoices, click Delete in the payment method section to remove your saved card.

Cancelling stops all deployments in the workspace immediately, not at the end of the period. You may also still receive an invoice for usage consumed earlier in the cycle.

Refunds, downgrades, pausing and your data

Four questions people ask before they cancel
Can I get my money back?

Refunds are discretionary, aimed at new customers who tried Railway and no longer want it, and limited to one per customer; consumed resource usage is generally not refunded. Request one via Workspace Settings → Billing using the refund button next to the invoice - if no button appears, you are ineligible. Approved refunds take roughly 5–10 business days, and Railway may take services offline immediately after refunding.

Case by case
Is there a cheaper way to stay?

Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Plans are managed at railway.com/workspace/plans. When you cancel, deployments stop and an invoice for already-consumed usage may still follow.

Can I pause instead of cancel?
