Step-by-step instructions

1
Only Owner or Admin can change Billing

Owner and Admin can view and manage workspace Billing. Developer can view it. Support and Viewer cannot.

2
Enterprise and order forms

Enterprise is custom and billed annually. If an Order Form applies, those commercial terms sit with the Standard Terms. Public docs do not give a separate self-serve Enterprise cancel path.

3
Deleting an application is separate

Only the Owner can delete applications. Public docs do not treat application deletion as cancelling the workspace subscription.

Frequently asked questions

Answers checked with the steps above
Where do I cancel Clerk itself?

In the Clerk Dashboard, open workspace Billing as an Owner or Admin. That is not the same as cancelling a subscriber inside Clerk Billing.

When does access end?

Clerk's terms say access continues after you cancel until the current subscription term expires.

Are Clerk fees refundable?

Paid fees are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise.

Is there a free plan after I cancel?

Hobby is free, with a 50,000 monthly retained user cap per app. Clerk does not publish the exact downgrade control.

Who can change billing?

Owner and Admin can manage Billing. On Hobby and Pro only Owner and Viewer exist, so the Owner must change billing.

Does deleting my Clerk application cancel the subscription?

Public docs do not say that. Only the Owner can delete applications, and that action is documented separately from Billing.
