BigCommerce requires 2 days notice - your reminder will land 4 days before the renewal date you enter. Commerce Fees and Billing terms require notice at least 2 business days before the Billing Date. Business days are 8 AM to 6 PM CST, Monday through Friday, excluding nationally recognized holidays.
Commerce Fees and Billing terms say fees are non-refundable, including prepaid unused time. The public pricing FAQ also says BigCommerce does not offer refunds and points to the 15-day free trial instead.
A chosen downgrade takes effect at the start of the next renewal period. Commerce does not credit or refund the remainder of the current prepaid period. Plans can also auto-upgrade when trailing-twelve-month GMV crosses the plan cap.

The Master Services Agreement says Commerce may delete archived data within 30 days after termination or cancellation. Trial stores that are not upgraded are kept 90 days on the pricing page, then deleted. Back up files before you cancel.
