## Cancel in a web browser

2. **Choose Cancel Subscription** Find the subscription and select Cancel Subscription in the top right, then choose Cancel Subscription again.

2. **Choose the ScribeForce subscription** Select the team subscription and choose Cancel Subscription.
3. **Confirm cancellation** Complete the reason and confirmation prompts, then retain the confirmation page.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** An initial purchase can be refunded when requested within 7 days and with less than 10GB used. Renewals are excluded.
- **Pausing:** Eligible Pro, Build-A-Plan, Static IP and ScribeForce subscriptions paid directly by Stripe card can be paused for 1 to 12 months. Third-party billing cannot be paused.
- **Downgrading:** Cancellation stops future payments while paid features continue through the billing period, then the account returns to the Free tier.
- **Account data:** Cancellation leaves the account. Windscribe retains username, password and optional email, prunes inactive accounts periodically, and allows permanent account deletion in My Account.
