# How to cancel Windmill

## Cancel a team plan

1. **Enterprise and Pro: turn automatic renewal off** Use the Windmill Customer Portal. Turning automatic renewal off cancels the subscription at the end of the current period. Reduce seats or compute units in the portal; mid-cycle increases are prorated.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Windmill can issue refunds for Contracts within two days of the original purchase. Refunds are not available for consumed resources, including executions, compute, storage or seats already used. Unused prepaid amounts are at Windmill's sole discretion. On a mid-month Team cancel, amounts already debited are non-refundable.
- **Pausing:** No subscription pause option is documented in the Cloud terms, pricing FAQs or Customer Portal docs.
- **Downgrading:** After a mid-month Team cancel, access lasts through the billing month. Cloud Community remains $0. Enterprise and Pro: turning auto-renewal off ends the subscription at period end; seats and compute units can be reduced in the portal.
- **Account data:** The privacy policy retains Personal Data only as long as needed for the stated purposes, and for legal, dispute and enforcement needs. Usage Data is generally kept for a shorter period unless needed for security, functionality or law. No numbered post-cancel deletion window is published. You may request deletion of personal data.
