# How to cancel TradingView

## Cancel in a web browser

1. **Open Settings and billing** Sign in to TradingView and open Settings and billing.
2. **Open Subscriptions** Select Subscriptions in the billing area.
3. **Cancel the renewal** Cancel the active plan and keep the confirmation. Paid access remains active until the next due date. A free trial stops immediately when cancelled.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** For web purchases, TradingView offers refunds within 14 calendar days after an annual payment and within 7 calendar days after a monthly payment. Monthly market-data subscriptions are non-refundable; annual market-data refunds within 14 days deduct the current month. App purchases follow the store's refund policy.
- **Pausing:** TradingView does not document a general pause option for web or iOS subscriptions. Android subscriptions may expose Google Play's own pause controls, depending on eligibility.
- **Downgrading:** A cancelled paid plan remains active until the next due date and then stops. TradingView also offers a free Basic plan. A cancelled free trial stops immediately, except separately purchased data packages.
- **Account data:** Cancelling a subscription does not delete the TradingView account. Account deletion is separate under Settings and billing > Account settings > Delete account, takes effect after 30 days, and can retain published ideas, scripts and messages needed for platform integrity.
