# How to cancel Storyblok

Cancel Storyblok from Settings, then Subscription, by opening Billing preferences/Invoices and clicking Cancel plan on Stripe. It takes about 2 minutes. Storyblok says paid fees are non-refundable unless the agreement states otherwise.

## Cancel in a web browser

> Self-serve cancel is Settings, Subscription, Billing preferences/Invoices, then Stripe Cancel plan.

1. **Open Settings, then Subscription** In the Storyblok space, go to Settings and open the Subscription tab. Billing preferences open after a paid subscription is active.
2. **Open Billing preferences/Invoices** Click Billing preferences/Invoices. Storyblok says this opens Stripe's billing page.
3. **Click Cancel plan** On the Stripe billing page, click Cancel plan and follow the prompts shown there.

> **Warning:** Billing preferences are available after the paid subscription is active, not during the trial-only period.

## Cancel a team plan

1. **Cancel a specified term at least 30 days before it ends** Self-service terms say a timely specified subscription term renews unless you cancel renewal via the self-service platform at least 30 days before the then-current billing cycle expires.
2. **Premium and Elite follow the signed order form** Enterprise Plan Customers cannot move to self-service. Notify Storyblok in writing, to sales@storyblok.com, at least 30 days before the term ends if you do not want renewal.
3. **Do not delete a subscribed space to cancel** Storyblok says deleting a subscribed space requires contacting support. Cancel the plan on Stripe first.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Storyblok terms say fees are non-refundable unless the agreement explicitly states otherwise. A pro-rata monthly refund of unused prepaid periods is described only if you terminate for Storyblok's material breach or for an unresolved Breaking Change.
- **Pausing:** Storyblok documents no subscription pause.
- **Downgrading:** Space owners can change plans from Settings, then Subscription. Storyblok says the previous plan is canceled immediately after an upgrade or downgrade is completed. Starter remains free after you leave a paid plan, subject to Starter limits.
- **Account data:** Storyblok will use commercially reasonable efforts to store Customer Content for up to 90 days after termination so you can request renewal. Deleting a space is done in Space Settings, Danger Zone, Delete Space. A subscribed space needs support help to delete.
