## Cancel in a web browser

> Drop extra accounts in Snowsight, then use Support for the last account and the organization.

1. **Drop every extra account** As organization administrator, in Snowsight go to Admin, then Accounts. Open the ... menu on an active account and choose Drop Account. Enter a grace period of 3 to 90 days and select Drop Account. You cannot drop the account you are logged into with ORGADMIN.
2. **Open a Snowflake Support case for the last account** Snowflake says you cannot drop the last account in the organization. Contact Snowflake Support in writing from the Support page in Snowsight or the Snowflake Support Portal and ask Support to delete the last account and the organization.

> **Warning:** Storage on a dropped account is still billed during the 3 to 90 day grace period.

## Cancel a team plan

> Open a case in Snowsight Support or the Snowflake Support Portal at community.snowflake.com.

1. **Cancel a trial through Support only** Trial accounts cannot currently be cancelled through the web interface. Contact Snowflake Support and request the account be cancelled.
2. **Capacity and Order Form contracts** Capacity commitments follow the Order Form. The Terms of Service say fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable except prepaid unused fees if you terminate for cause.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Snowflake Terms of Service say payment obligations are non-cancelable and fees are non-refundable except as the agreement expressly allows. If you terminate for cause, you are entitled to a refund of prepaid unused fees. On-demand usage after trial credits is billed monthly in arrears.
- **Pausing:** No account-level pause is documented. Warehouses can auto-suspend to stop compute credits, but storage still accrues. A dropped account is locked during its grace period and storage remains billable.
- **Downgrading:** Organization administrators can change an account edition. Virtual Private Snowflake upgrades require Support. Billing ends when accounts are dropped and Support deletes the last account and organization. After the agreement ends, you may have up to 30 calendar days to retrieve Customer Data if you give Snowflake written notice.
- **Account data:** A dropped account enters a 3 to 90 day grace period and can be undropped, then Snowflake purges it. After agreement termination, written notice gives up to 30 calendar days to retrieve Customer Data, after which Snowflake deletes it.
