# How to cancel Replicate

Stop Replicate auto reload from billing settings at replicate.com/account/billing: click Manage billing and disable auto reload. It takes about two minutes; new work stops when credit hits zero. Purchased credit is valid for one year and is not refundable.

Cloud platform for running machine-learning models. New accounts buy prepaid credit; usage is deducted as you go. Some older accounts are still billed monthly in arrears.

## Cancel in a web browser

> New accounts are prepaid credit. Disable auto reload to stop automatic top-ups, then delete deployments you no longer need.

1. **Open billing settings** Sign in and go to replicate.com/account/billing (avatar, Account settings, Billing).
2. **Disable auto reload** You can edit or disable auto reload at any time in billing settings. The minimum threshold is $5 and the minimum reload balance is $15. Follow the auto reload controls shown there.
3. **Delete unused deployments** Deployments bill for setup, idle, and active time. Go to Deployments, open the deployment, open Settings, and select Delete deployment. The deployment must have been offline and unused for at least 15 minutes.
4. **Optionally delete the account** Terms say you may terminate by deleting your Account. Official help pages do not publish the button path. Follow any delete prompts on the account pages, or contact replicate.com/support. You must pay any unpaid amount due before termination.

## Cancel a team plan

> Older monthly-arrears accounts and any Terms-defined Subscription use support to change or cancel recurring billing.

1. **Terms-defined Subscriptions go through support** If your account has a Subscription with automatic recurring charges, cancel by contacting replicate.com/support. Cancellation must be received before the renewal date to avoid the next period.
2. **Move from monthly arrears to prepaid via support** Accounts created before 16 July 2025 can stay on monthly billing. To move to prepaid credit sooner, email support@replicate.com.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Purchased prepaid credit is valid for 1 year from the purchase date and is not refundable. All sales of Prepaid Credits are final except where required by law. Failed API runs are not charged. Cancelling an official-model run may still be charged for time already used. Private models and deployments bill failed and canceled runs for active instance time.
- **Pausing:** No account-level pause is documented. Disable auto reload to stop automatic top-ups. Public models scale to zero when idle. Deployments can scale to zero if configured. When prepaid credit hits zero, Replicate prevents new work and shuts down infrastructure it is running for you.
- **Downgrading:** There is no lower fixed paid tier. After auto reload is off, further paid use only happens if you add credit or, on arrears accounts, if you keep running models. You can keep using select free models until asked to set up billing.
- **Account data:** API predictions delete input parameters, outputs, files, and logs after an hour by default. Web-interface predictions are kept indefinitely until you delete them with the Delete button on the prediction page. After you delete the Account, related information or files may be deleted. Replicate may keep public Community Models. Privacy requests go to privacy@replicate.com.

**How do I stop Replicate from charging my card?**

Disable auto reload in billing settings and stop adding credit. Delete deployments you no longer need. If you have a Terms-defined Subscription, contact replicate.com/support before the renewal date.

**Can I get unused credit refunded?**

No. Purchased credit is valid for one year and is not refundable.

**What happens when my credit hits zero?**

New work is blocked and infrastructure Replicate is running for you is shut down. Rare overages are charged to your default payment method at month end.

**I still get a monthly invoice. How do I cancel that?**

Accounts created before 16 July 2025 can stay on monthly arrears. Stop running models and deployments to avoid a next-month bill, or email support@replicate.com to move to prepaid credit.

**Does cancelling a running prediction stop the charge?**

Failed runs are not charged. Cancelling an official model after it started can still bill the time it ran. Private models and deployments bill active instance time as normal.

**How do I delete my Replicate account?**

The Terms say delete your Account. Help pages do not list the button path. Use any delete control on the account pages or contact support. Email privacy@replicate.com for a personal-information deletion request.
