# How to cancel Nightwatch

For a current Nightwatch plan, open the top-right menu > Settings > Billing > Manage Stripe Billing, then select Cancel plan. Legacy customers use the top-right menu > Upgrade > Cancel subscription. Nightwatch allows cancellation at any time, but its guide does not state the final access date, so confirm that date in the billing portal.

## Cancel in a web browser

1. **Open Billing** For a current plan, open the top-right menu, choose Settings and open Billing.
2. **Open Stripe billing** Select Manage Stripe Billing, then choose Cancel plan and complete the confirmation.
3. **Use the legacy route if needed** If the Stripe route is unavailable, open the top-right menu, choose Upgrade and select Cancel subscription.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Nightwatch's terms say it is not obligated to provide refunds. Automatic proration is documented for switching plans, not ordinary cancellation.
