# How to cancel Miro

Cancel Miro from the paid team's Admin console under Billing by clicking Cancel subscription and confirming the reason. It takes about 3 minutes, and at the end of the paid period boards become locked in view-only mode. 1. **Switch to the paid team** From the Miro dashboard, switch to the team whose Starter or Business subscription you want to cancel.
2. **Open the Admin console** Click the profile avatar, select Admin console or Settings, then choose Billing.
3. **Select Cancel subscription** Under Billing actions, click Cancel subscription and continue through the confirmation screens.
4. **Confirm the reason** Choose a cancellation reason and click Cancel subscription to finish.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Miro does not refund unused subscription time. Access continues through the paid period, and outstanding license charges can still be collected at cancellation.
- **Pausing:** No subscription pause is documented.
