# How to cancel Mintlify

## Cancel in a web browser

1. **Email Mintlify support** The public docs do not describe a subscription Cancel button. Email support@mintlify.com or use dashboard chat and ask Mintlify not to renew the current Order Form.
2. **Give at least 30 days' notice** Mintlify's terms say each Order Form renews automatically unless either party notifies the other at least 30 days before the current term ends.
3. **Keep the confirmation** Ask for written confirmation of the end date and that no further renewal charge will be taken. Paid access continues through the current prepaid term.

## Cancel a team plan

1. **Enterprise Order Forms** Enterprise subscriptions follow the signed Order Form. Send the same 30-day non-renewal notice to support@mintlify.com or the contacts listed on the Order Form.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Mintlify's Terms of Service state that all fees paid are non-refundable and are not subject to set-off.
- **Pausing:** No subscription pause option is documented in the current terms, privacy policy, support page or public docs.
- **Downgrading:** Starter remains the free plan. The public docs do not describe a self-serve downgrade button from Pro to Starter. Deleting a deployment is permanent and, if a subscription is active, Mintlify says it issues a prorated credit for unused time in that billing period.
- **Account data:** Not renewing is not the same as deleting the account. To terminate an account, contact Mintlify; it will deactivate or delete the account from active databases and may retain some information for legal or security reasons. Customer Data may be deleted if an account is 90 or more days delinquent.
