## Cancel in a web browser

> Laravel Forge is not Laravel Cloud. Cancel the Forge organization plan here, not a Cloud account.

1. **Open the organization dashboard** Sign in at forge.laravel.com and select the organization whose plan you want to cancel. Each organization has its own billing plan.
2. **Go to Settings, then Billing** An admin opens Settings > Billing.
3. **Click Cancel plan** On the billing page, click Cancel plan. Follow any confirmation prompts shown there.

> **Warning:** Managed database clusters are deleted seven days after you cancel. Export them first. Deleting the organization immediately terminates Forge server and resource data.

## Cancel a team plan

1. **An admin must submit the cancellation** Organization billing is unique per organization. The docs say an admin cancels from Settings > Billing.
2. **Downgrade at cycle end if you only need a cheaper tier** Upgrades bill pro rata immediately. Downgrades change at the end of the current billing cycle and can remove teams, database backups and monitoring.
3. **Export managed databases during the grace period** After you cancel, managed database clusters stay for seven days, then the cluster and all data are permanently deleted.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** The Organizations docs do not describe a cash refund. The Terms of Service say that after you terminate a subscription you may use it until the end of the then-current term. Billing questions can go to finance@laravel.com.
- **Pausing:** No plan pause is documented. You can cancel at any time or downgrade at the end of the billing cycle.
- **Downgrading:** Admins change plans on Settings > Billing. Upgrades are billed pro rata immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Every organization must keep an active subscription unless you cancel.
- **Account data:** Deleting an organization is permanent and immediately terminates organization member, server and resource data. Managed database clusters get a seven-day grace period after subscription cancellation, then permanent deletion with no recovery.

## At a glance
