# How to cancel HelloFresh

Cancel HelloFresh from Account Settings: open Plan settings under Subscription Status and choose Cancel Plan before 11:59 p.m. Pacific, five days before the next delivery. It takes about 2 minutes, but a box already locked after that cutoff is still charged and delivered. There is no general refund after the cutoff; a credit or refund for an unsatisfactory box is at HelloFresh's discretion.

## Cancel in a web browser

1. **Open Account Settings** Sign in, open your name menu and choose Account Settings.
2. **Manage the plan** Open Plan settings or Manage under Subscription Status.
3. **Cancel the plan** Choose Cancel Plan and complete the prompts before 11:59 p.m. Pacific, five days before the next delivery.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** A box already locked after the five-day cutoff is charged and delivered. Contact HelloFresh within five days about an unsatisfactory box; a credit or refund may be offered at its discretion. Issued refunds generally take 5 to 10 business days.
- **Pausing:** Individual delivery weeks can be skipped from My Menu before the cutoff. This is not an indefinite subscription hold.
- **Downgrading:** Change meal preferences, servings or recipes in the account before the weekly cutoff. Pricing changes with the order configuration.
- **Account data:** Closing the account is separate from cancelling deliveries and requires contacting HelloFresh. HelloFresh may retain information for legal, accounting, claims and fraud-prevention needs before deletion, anonymization or isolation.
