# How to cancel Gumroad

Delete a Gumroad seller account from Advanced settings: open gumroad.com/settings/advanced, scroll to the bottom and click Delete your Gumroad account! It takes about two minutes and is permanent. Gumroad does not charge a monthly fee, so there is no unused-month refund.

## Cancel in a web browser

1. **Export what you need to keep** Account deletions are permanent. Gumroad recommends changing the account email if you want to keep using that address, and downloading purchases from your Gumroad Library.
2. **Open Advanced settings** Go to gumroad.com/settings/advanced.
3. **Delete the account** Scroll to the bottom and click Delete your Gumroad account!

## Cancel a team plan

1. **Buyer memberships use a different path** If you subscribed to a creator on Gumroad, use the Cancel Membership flow or Gumroad in-app live chat. That does not delete a seller account. Access lasts until the end of the current term with no prorated refund.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Gumroad does not charge a monthly seller fee, so there is no unused-month refund for closing a creator account. Buyer memberships are not eligible for a prorated refund of the current period. Gumroad handles buyer refund and chargeback requests in its sole discretion.
