# How to cancel Gamma

Cancel Gamma from Settings under Billing by selecting Cancel subscription. It takes about two minutes, and only the workspace billing admin can cancel. Gamma requires cancellation at least 30 days before renewal to avoid the next charge; access continues through the paid term, then the workspace moves to Free.

## Cancel in a web browser

1. **Open Settings** Click the Settings gear in the left sidebar. On mobile, open the three-line menu first.
2. **Confirm the workspace and plan** Check the workspace name and paid plan at the top of the sidebar. Switch workspaces if the active one shows Free.
3. **Open Billing** Click Billing. Only the billing admin can cancel the workspace subscription.
4. **Select Cancel subscription** At the bottom of Billing, click Cancel subscription. Complete this at least 30 days before renewal to avoid the next charge.

## Cancel a team plan

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund. A full refund may be requested within three days of subscribing when plan-specific credit use remains below Gamma's published threshold. After three days there is no refund except where law requires one.
- **Pausing:** Gamma does not offer a pause or hold option. Cancel and resubscribe when ready.
- **Downgrading:** The workspace moves to Free after the paid period ends. Content remains available, paid-only features are disabled, and unused credits expire.
- **Account data:** Cancellation keeps Gamma content accessible on the Free plan. Permanent account deletion is separate, irreversible, and removes presentations, documents, and sites.
