# How to cancel ESPN+

Cancel ESPN Select or Unlimited from the Account page on the ESPN website: choose Manage Subscription, select the plan under Plans & Billing, then Cancel and confirm. It takes about 2 minutes and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. ESPN does not refund a partially used billing period.

## Cancel in a web browser

1. **Open Account** Sign in on the ESPN website, select the profile and choose Account under Manage My Account.
2. **Manage the subscription** Choose Manage Subscription and select the plan under Plans & Billing.
3. **Cancel** Choose Cancel and confirm.

## Cancel on iPhone / iPad

1. **Cancel with Apple** If Apple bills the plan, cancel it through Apple subscriptions.

## Cancel on Android

1. **Cancel with Google Play** If Google Play bills the plan, cancel it through Google Play subscriptions.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. ESPN does not refund a partially used billing period.
- **Pausing:** ESPN Unlimited cannot be paused. No Select pause option was documented in the checked subscription help.
- **Downgrading:** Select-to-Unlimited upgrades are immediate and prorated. Unlimited-to-Select downgrades take effect on the next bill. An annual plan cannot be changed immediately to monthly.
- **Account data:** Deleting an ESPN account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel first. Deletion removes profile details and anonymizes some other information, subject to stated Disney account effects.
