2. **Cancel Pro** Click the purple Cancel Pro plan button and complete the confirmation.
3. **Review Free-plan limits** The account moves to Free. Contacts remain, but sending is unavailable while the list exceeds 2,500 contacts.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Payments are generally non-refundable. EU consumers have a 14-day cooling-off right for a full refund under the terms.
- **Pausing:** A break means cancelling Pro and moving to Free. Nothing is deleted, and older reports become available again after upgrading.
- **Downgrading:** Cancellation moves the account to Free from the next billing period. A downgrade can also be requested at contact@emailoctopus.com.
- **Account data:** Contacts remain after Pro cancellation. Reports older than 30 days become unavailable until Pro is restored. A Free account may be deleted after one year of complete inactivity.
