# How to cancel Drip

Cancel Drip as the subscription owner from Settings > Billing. Click Cancel Subscription, submit the survey and confirm. It takes about 2 minutes. Access continues through the current billing period, all linked accounts are cancelled, and unused time is generally not refunded.

## Cancel in a web browser

1. **Open Billing** Sign in as the subscription owner, open Settings and select Billing.
2. **Start cancellation** Click Cancel Subscription. Only account owners can cancel.
3. **Submit the survey** Complete the cancellation survey and click Submit.
4. **Confirm cancellation** Click Confirm Subscription Cancellation. All accounts under the subscription are cancelled together.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Drip generally does not issue refunds and does not refund unused time. Contact support within three business days of a renewal to avoid the next month's charge.
- **Pausing:** No pause option is documented in Drip's official cancellation, refund and account-settings pages.
- **Downgrading:** Pricing scales with people count. No separate lower paid plan or free downgrade after cancellation is documented.
- **Account data:** Access continues through the billing period. Export account data to CSV before Delete Account, which permanently removes people, workflows, emails, templates and analytics.
