# How to cancel Calm

Cancel Calm Premium from Profile > Settings > Manage Subscription on calm.com, or through Apple or Google if that platform billed you. It takes about 2 minutes, and Premium stays active through the current billing period. Calm.com and Google Play purchases may qualify for a refund within 30 days; Apple decides Apple-billed refunds.

## Cancel in a web browser

> Use Calm's website for subscriptions purchased directly from Calm.

1. **Open Manage Subscription** Log in to Calm in a web browser, click the profile icon, then select Settings and Manage Subscription.
2. **Click Cancel Subscription** Use the cancellation option for the Calm.com subscription.
3. **Follow the confirmation prompts** Premium stays active until the current billing or trial period ends.

## Cancel on iPhone / iPad

> Apple-billed subscriptions must be managed with Apple.

1. **Open Apple subscriptions** Open iPhone or iPad Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
2. **Select Calm** Open the Calm subscription billed to that Apple Account.
3. **Cancel the subscription** Tap Cancel Subscription. Calm cannot cancel an Apple-billed subscription for you.

## Cancel on Android

> Google Play-billed subscriptions must be managed with Google Play.

1. **Open Google Play subscriptions** Open Google Play, tap the profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions and Subscriptions.
2. **Select Calm** Open the Calm subscription billed to that Google Account.
3. **Cancel the subscription** Tap Cancel subscription and follow Google's prompts.

## Cancel a team plan

> Only the Family Admin can cancel a Calm Premium Family plan, and the controls are on the website.

1. **Family Admin: open Manage Subscription** Only the Family Admin can cancel the plan. Log in on calm.com, then open Profile, Settings and Manage Subscription.
2. **Click Cancel Plan** Follow the prompts to confirm. The Admin and all five members keep Premium until the current billing year ends.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Canceling does not automatically issue a refund. Calm.com purchases can be submitted for a refund within 30 days. Calm Support handles eligible Google Play requests, while Apple independently decides Apple-billed requests. Lifetime memberships, gift cards, Family plans and Enterprise plans are not eligible.
- **Pausing:** No subscription pause is documented for Calm Premium in its current pricing, billing, cancellation, subscription-status or plan-change pages. Calm documents canceling auto-renewal or changing billing cycles instead.
- **Downgrading:** When an individual Premium subscription expires, the account can keep Calm's limited free content. After a Family plan expires, all six accounts revert to Calm Free.
- **Account data:** Cancellation does not delete the Calm account. Account deletion is separate and permanent, and removes complete session history and saved sessions across Calm and Calm Sleep. Cancel an auto-renewing subscription and request any refund before deleting the account.
