# How to cancel Bitrise

Cancel Bitrise from Workspace Settings, then Plan & Billing: open Manage on the product card, choose Cancel subscription, pick a reason, and confirm. It takes about 2 minutes, and the product stays active until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to its free plan where available. Amounts already paid are non-refundable.

Mobile CI/CD and DevOps platform. Workspace owners cancel each product subscription separately from Plan & Billing.

## Cancel in a web browser

> Cancel each product (CI, Build Cache, Release Management, and others) separately.

1. **Sign in as a workspace owner** Only workspace owners can manage billing. Select the correct workspace in the Workspace menu.
2. **Open Settings, then Plan & Billing** Hover over the left navigation bar, select Settings, then select Plan & Billing.
3. **Open Manage on the product card** Each product has its own subscription. Find the product you want to cancel and click Manage on its card.
4. **Cancel subscription and confirm** In the product drawer, click Cancel subscription. Select a cancellation reason and click Confirm cancellation. The subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. Repeat for every product you want to stop.

## Cancel a team plan

> A workspace owner must make billing changes. Signed Bitrise Orders can set different renewal terms.

1. **Only owners can change billing** Workspace owners can manage billing, delete projects, change the billing email, and add or remove other owners.
2. **Bitrise Order customers follow the Order Form** If a signed Bitrise Order applies, that order is the binding commitment. The website Terms say plans auto-renew unless a party gives written notice at least 30 days before the last day of the Term, or the customer deletes the account, or the parties agreed otherwise in the Order.
3. **Transfer the workspace before deleting your user account** If you are the only confirmed owner, transfer ownership or delete the workspace before deleting your Bitrise account. Account deletion is Account settings > Delete account and is separate from cancelling a product subscription.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** The Bitrise Terms of Service state that all amounts paid pursuant to a Plan are non-refundable.
- **Pausing:** No pause option is documented. Official billing docs describe changing or cancelling a product subscription, not pausing it.
- **Downgrading:** You can change a workspace plan from Plan & Billing by clicking Change plan, selecting a new plan or tier, and completing checkout. Enterprise is not self-serve. After a product cancellation, access lasts until the end of the current billing period, then the product reverts to its free plan where available (Hobby for CI).
- **Account data:** Cancelling a product subscription does not delete the workspace. Deleting your user account is a separate flow. The Terms say Bitrise may dispose of Customer Data in its possession at any point after termination, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

## At a glance

- Cancellation fee: None documented
- Refund window: None; amounts paid are non-refundable
- Effective: End of current billing period
- Free plan after: Yes, Hobby where available

## FAQ

**Do I have to cancel every Bitrise product?**

Yes if you pay for more than one. Each product has an independent subscription. Repeat Manage > Cancel subscription on each card. Cancelling an add-on leaves the product subscription active.

**When does cancellation take effect?**

You keep access until the end of the current billing period. Plan & Billing then shows the scheduled cancellation date. After that the product reverts to its free plan where available.

**Can I get a refund?**

No. The Terms of Service say all amounts paid pursuant to a Plan are non-refundable.

**Who can cancel?**

A workspace owner. Owners manage billing and the billing email.

**Does deleting my Bitrise account cancel paid plans?**

The Terms treat deleting the account as termination of the Terms. Product docs still tell you to cancel each subscription on Plan & Billing, and they require transferring or deleting a workspace you solely own before you delete the account.
