# How to cancel Bark

Cancel Bark from the logged-in account by selecting Cancel my account, or in Apple Subscriptions if Apple billed you. It takes about two minutes; help says access lasts until the paid period ends, and the terms say services terminate on the cancellation date. The terms say no refunds are provided.

## Cancel in a web browser

> This guide is for Bark parental monitoring at bark.us, not BarkBox.

1. **Uninstall Bark Kids if needed** Uninstall Bark Kids from the child's iOS or Android devices. Skip this step for a Bark-branded handset or Watch.
2. **Log in to the Bark account** Sign in on bark.us or in the Bark parent app. The terms say to cancel from the Account page on the site.
3. **Select Cancel my account** Scroll down and select Cancel my account. The cancel help says you keep access until the end of the paid subscription period.

> **Warning:** The May 2025 terms say services terminate on the cancellation date. The July 2026 cancel help says access lasts until the end of the paid period.

## Cancel on iPhone / iPad

> If Billing shows Manage Apple subscription, cancel in Apple Subscriptions. Bark cannot change those payments.

1. **Check whether Apple bills the plan** In the Bark parent app or dashboard, open Account and scroll to Billing. If you see Manage Apple subscription, Apple bills the plan.
2. **Open Apple Subscriptions** On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
3. **Cancel the Bark subscription** Tap the Bark subscription, then tap Cancel Subscription. Bark cannot cancel Apple-billed accounts itself. Refund requests go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

> **Warning:** Deleting the Bark Kids app does not cancel an Apple-billed subscription.

## Refunds, pausing, downgrades and your data

- **Refunds:** Bark's terms state that no refunds are provided. Apple-billed subscriptions must request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- **Pausing:** Card-billed accounts in good standing can pause for 1, 2 or 3 months, starting immediately or on a chosen future date. Features are unavailable during the pause, and unpausing early requires contacting support. Apple-billed plans are managed by Apple, not Bark.
- **Downgrading:** You can change your plan or cancel at any time. Intermediate labels for switching Bark Jr and Bark Premium are not published. After cancellation, the July 2026 cancel help says access lasts until the end of the paid period, while the May 2025 terms say services terminate on the cancellation date.
- **Account data:** When the account closes, payment information is deleted immediately and other data is deleted after 15 days, or sooner if you email support@bark.us. You can reactivate later by logging in. A verified identity request removes data from active systems and backups within 15 days of confirmation.
